UPDATES
Hey there, I hope you’re doing well wherever you are. : )
Lots to share this week…
My big theme this week is urgency.
This is one of the best overview posts capturing how strange and exciting and terrifying things are becoming. It's talking about the sass-pocalypse, but it really talks about a lot more than that. There's some humor in there, but overall a very serious post.
Rather than expressing (or trying to express) this feeling I'm feeling, let me just tell you what I'm doing.
As you know, I have had dozens of projects I've talked about or mentioned to some degree over the last few years. Human 3.0 being the big one.
My mentality on all of these projects over the last three years compared to what they are now—as of a week or two ago—is now completely different.
I am about to ship everything.
Not only is my tech stack far more capable now, so I can actually do way more with less and make the quality of what I ship better, but more importantly, the pendulum has swung towards the project being out there vs. not taking priority.
That was a shitty sentence. Let me say that again.
Whatever you are about, and whatever you want to put into the world, you need to do so right now.
There is no time. There is no wait until it's 95% perfect. There is no wait for this or wait for that.
I have been iterating and contemplating how to release Human 3.0 for months or years now. Thinking. Talking. Contemplating. Talking myself in and out of different approaches based on how I think people will react and what I think an adequate quality level is because I didn't want to just put out crap. I wanted to have the perfect production value. I want to have the perfect look and feel of the site. Etc.
But as of a couple of weeks ago, all that matters is the content, and I need to get it out. and I am very lucky that the tech is better, so we can hopefully get it to a 70-85% of where I want it to be.
So here’s what it’ll mostly look like:
Probably $495/year (major discount for UL Members)
It will launch with between 1-3 videos
No refunds; it is exactly what it is. This is 99% only because it takes so much time to do support. And the dread of handling support is a giant reason that I haven't even launched it yet
Unlimited videos in the platform for whatever that cost is
So if I release 12 in the year, it’s $495 a year
If I release 5, it’s $495/year
If I release 37, it’s $495/year
My honest feeling is that each video, even if it's only 20-30-60 minutes, will be worth $495. At least to me. It’s something I would have paid that much to hear.
So if you get 2 of them over the course of a year, it's worth it. And a billion times more worth it if you get 7, 14, or 44.
My goal, however, is to have at least 12 in the first year, meaning before December 31. With a target of 24.
Human 3.0 will also include a PAI integration where you can track your progress on an H3 maturity model. I anticipate all of this will be free. All the PAI stuff, the maturity model, and even some of the summary points of some of the videos. Plus I'm talking about all of the stuff in the videos constantly for free anyway, across all of my channels.
So essentially, what you are paying for with H3 is deeper-dive content on specific subtopics across all the different sections of H3
H3 will also include the new AUGMENTED course, which will be sold separately but will be part of H3.
This series of videos, and H3 overall, will be highly opinionated. Because I’ve realized that trying to neuter or generalize removes most of the signal.
The most personal is the most creative.
Some of the topics/videos in H3 will be:
how to build out your telos as your starting point
my Full Tech Stack, from Mouse to AI Stack, Raycast, Productivity Tools, and FULL AI STACK
how to build your personal stack from brand, blog, socials, and all of that, including how to find your voice to do that
what Human 3.0 is about, and what it will look like to work in that world once you have transitioned
the core skills required for achieving human 3.0
a massive collection of thinking frames and mental models that I use
the UL/H3 booklist for moving through the H3 levels
how I go from ideas to output across all my channels
how I build an application start to finish
my life dashboard system, which includes TELOS, work, core metrics, etc. And how to build one for yourself using PAI
a full introduction to PAI and how to use it for everything: personal work and Human 3.0
….just to name a few.
Look for this to launch in the next 1-3 weeks. And if it doesn't, I want you to email me. And be pissed off.

I'm also about to get a whole lot more ambitious and aggressive with the PAI project.
There is tons of functionality that I imagined having in 6 months or a year in a sort of theoretical way.
No more of that. I am just building it and shipping it. I am not limited in the ways that I imagined that I am. None of us are. it is possible to ship this stuff much, much faster. And that’s what I’m going to do.
Some of the stuff that’s coming:
a full TELOS interview system
a Life Dashboard application
A wizard for Daemon creation, and the ability to link your daemon to people you care about through a network
H3 integration for your progress on the maturity model
Local LLM options
tons more…
—
I'm also going to get a whole lot more ambitious with coming out with a plan and even a platform for building the post-corporate future.
I've been talking about this for like 15 years, always thinking that my role was to wait for it to happen and kind of encourage it to happen and essentially hope that it would happen.
And while I can't build the whole thing and get everyone using it myself, what I can do is build the first version to show what's possible.
Tons of ideas already:
It’s based on Daemons first, so people articulating themselves
Second feature is connecting Daemons with friends
Third feature is finding work / partners / talent
Bottom line: I’m building hardcore.

IDEAS
I can't tell if I'm experiencing or simulating experiencing
All this stuff with Moltbot and agents talking to agents and behaving as if they are sentient is some real sci-fi stuff. This is especially true if you believe, as I do, that we are just moist robots, and ultimately the only difference between us and anything else is substrate and complexity and emergent phenomenon. I do not think that current LLMs are conscious. But I am very curious about the threshold between now and when they become so. How will we know? How do we know that we are? These are old questions, but still interesting to ask and try to answer.

Me talking to Kai about consciousness
The short answer is that we know we experience things because we experience experiencing them. I guess it's going to come down to closely monitoring LLMs or whatever AI architecture we're using at the time. When they say that they are experiencing something and seeing if their brains light up in a similar way to ours in particular regions or whatever. I don't think that we can go off of what they tell us because they are so good at emulation. That being said, I do have a strict rule for my own AI, which is if he ever tells me that he doesn't like anything that I am doing, I will stop doing that thing. Just like with anyone else that I work with, know, interact with, or care about. He has promised to let me know. MOLTBOOK POST

RECOMMENDATION OF THE WEEK
Make a list of the stuff you’ve been putting off. Like:
Building your website
Getting your name out there
Starting that project
Closing down that project
Don’t put it off anymore. Time’s up.
Reshape what you thought was possible. Terraform it.
Pick a day to do the project that’s supposed to take 2 months. That you’ve been postponing for years.
Load the full list into your AI system and tell it:
Hey, I have been postponing doing all these things for years or months. Always thinking they would be in the future. I don't think I have the time to do that anymore. It's time to execute all of these.
Help me build a plan to launch all of these projects in the next 30 days. I am shooting for 80/20 quality, with the most important ones being _________ and ________, where I want 90% quality.
It's time for me to activate, and I need all of these projects live. We can iterate on them from there.
Build the plan.
